In keeping with my rules of only writing about new shows, I only watched one thing last night.
Overall I found it to be a quite enjoyable episode of Raw.
Rhodes Vs. Bryan was good, if given more time would have been great.
Ziggler Vs. Punk was given the right amount of time and therefore was one of the better WWE style matches I've seen in a while, even with the wonky finish. The biggest problem I had with the match was Punk coming out first, no champion should ever come out first, period.
Jericho returning wasn't much of a surprise, but it was a welcome addition to the roster. The return itself was epic. When's the last time some one came out to a cheering crowd, never says a word, doesn't change his attitude or demeanor, and leaves to boos. I love it and can't wait to see what happens next. It also strikes me that Jericho might be the new Roddy Piper. Consistently "retiring" to take a break, leaving the fans wanting more, only to come back 8 months to a year later fresh and ready to go. The difference being Jericho only seems to come back after he has thought of some new way to reinvent himself, so I cant wait to see where this is going and plan to sit back and enjoy the ride.
The rest of the show was average at best, but three good segments in an episode of raw sadly makes it one of the better outings in a while. Next week could be nothing more than a 45 minute Rhodes/Bryan match, a 45 minute Ziggler/Punk match and another Jericho segment and I'd be happy.
