Wednesday Jan. 11th

Since we've reached the point where I'm over a week behind on some shows, I'm going to start labeling everything with the episode title and air date.

"Lifetime Supply"  Air date 01-04-12

There isn't much that needs to be said about Modern Family.  It is by far one of the best things currently airing on TV.  If you watch it you all ready know this, if you don't watch it stop what your doing and go buy the DVDs you're missing out.

From Phil running out of his lifetime of razor blades, to the mouse in Cam's trophy box, to Luke's old friend, to Cam and Michell continuously checking out Gloria's Ex, a classic episode that made me laugh out loud more times than I could count.

"The Shrink, the Dare, Her Date And Her Brother"  Air Date 01-04-12

I like Happy Endings.  It somehow is able to rise above all the stereotypical sit-com stuff it has going on to be a very good lighthearted show that doesn't take itself too seriously.  I was happy but surprised when it was renewed for a second season. I'm glad the show has shifted the focus from the jilted groom to more of an ensemble cast much like Cougar Town.

I applaud the show for having Max not fall into any of the normal trappings that A gay character has to have and just letting him be a beer drinking, sports watching, lazy, slob of a guy who just happens to like guys.

I was going to write about how having Ken Marino guest star automatically makes the show better, but then they didn't do much with him.  So instead I'll say if you've never seen "Party Down" find it and watch it, thats how you use Ken Marino.  I'm pretty sure you can stream it on Netflix.

"Don't Bid So Close To Me" Air Date 01-10-12

The enigma that is Barry continues to perplex me.  He seems like a half off his rocker old coot.  But then to just drop by his old friend Stewart Copeland's house to get some drums appraised...I don't know something doesn't add up to me.  I also don't like the way he mistreats the things he buys that he doesn't care about just because they aren't "collectibles".
