"Ice Ice Baby" Air Date

I guess there's an English version of this show where they are way more ruthless in making fun of the contestants.  I bet that would be pretty interesting to watch.

That first obstacle where they had to slide down the fall away logs while riding a snowboard. How were they supposed to complete it? It's no fun to have something where the only way to pass it is to fail, there has to be at least a small sliver of hope, otherwise its just mean and stupid.

They've added traction support in climbing up to the big balls.  They used to make fun of people who had a hard time doing that climb.

I don't know how that girl didn't break her neck on the snake.  That was one of the more painful things I've ever seen on this show.

I think I've figured out the problem with this show.  If an obstacle cannot deliver a quality wipe out every time it becomes old very fast and once it becomes old it becomes boring and painful to watch.

 "Private Parts" Air Date 1-11-12

Remember everything I said yesterday about Happy Endings.  Well reverse it and you have my feelings about Whitney.  It falls into all the bad sitcom stereotypes and is content to just stay in that muck and mire.  The supporting cast is bland and all one note and the one note they are they play poorly.  The only exception to this is Chris D'Elia who plays her boyfriend.  He has good comedic timing and gets the most out of the scripts and the rest of the cast.

I think the show would benefit from being on a channel like F/X and then if they let Whitney be more of a jerk, closer to some one you would see on "The League" where even though they were a main character you really don't have to like them.

Also If you're going to do a show with a risque subject matter and you can't find a way to do it and still have you're characters talk like normal adult human beings, don't do that episode.  None of the double entendre's were in any way clever or funny, they all seemed like writers trying to write the goofiest things they could think of giving no consideration to if anyone would actually say it or not.

This show is by far the worst thing I am currently watching and if it doesn't improve soon, I think it will be the first show I quit watching this year.  I'll give it two more episodes.

"Oakland County, Mich. (Girls)" Air Date 1-12-12

When the officer was describing the prison she said that they house about 243 inmates.  What a strange way of saying that, normally a person would say we house 243 inmates or we house about 250 inmates.  To be so general and specific all at the same time was strange.

When ever I watch this or Cops I always find I always look at the furnishings in the peoples houses paying close attention to the cleanliness of their house and the tackiness of their decor.

If you're 18 and out of high school you probably shouldn't be hanging out with a 14 year old.  That's what an eighth grader.

I wonder if those jail cells were supposed to have glass in the panels and they took them out to save money.

This is a direct quote from Taylor at the end of the episode:
"I feel more better about myself, knowing that I don't do as much bad things as I used to."
My brain hurts too much to even comment.
