Wow, one week in and only behind on 9 shows I'm in better shape than I though I'd be. I didn't get home from work until about 8:30 last night, so I didn't get to watch much.
Pretty lackluster episode. I found the task jumbled and discombobulated but worst of all not entertaining. And Big Brother don't manufacture discontent, manufacture situations that lead to discontent.
Like I said I didn't get home till about 8:30, so I missed the first 2 segments of Raw. From what I read later it was just bad Cena/Kane stuff so no real loss.
Edge going in the Hall of Fame is a class move by the WWE. It shows honor to a loyal employee who's career was cut short by injury. But it sadly puts a nail in the coffin of him ever coming back.
Brodus Clay was a bit of a underwhelming surprise. At first I thought Flash Funk 2.0, but after the match it seems more like new dancin' Rikishi. It must suck it get there with untapped potential and end up saddled with a gimmick that will always keep you at the bottom of the card. Oh and if you have a segment of your show where the announcers have to fake laugh constantly so the audience knows its supposed to be funny. Just cut that segment out your show will be better for it.
I thought Cole did a good job of converting the ref botch into angle advancement for the PPV. It was so well done I wondered if it was actually supposed to happen that way.
The 4 Horsemen getting the HoF nod was also good. Arn deserves to be in it. He has always been an under appreciated worker and could always get a good match out of almost anyone. He's also one of my personal favorites of all time.
I can only hope that this is the start of a long term heel champ run for Daniel Bryan. Bryan always works best as a crafty heel. I can only hope he uses the no D.Q. match on Friday to the fullest advantage. If this leads to him using "I've got till 5", he could become a main event level guy on that alone, because it's definitely a main event level catch phrase.
