This post should have been up yesterday, but due to a car repair that should have taken half an hour actually taking over 6 hours that didn't happen. So I'll post Sundays viewing now and if I get to it I'll post Mondays later this evening.
"A team faces a week without a trainer" Air Date 2-7-12
Adrian isn't wrong in what he's saying but he also isn't right. for his own good he needs to basically sit down and shut up. The best thing he could do is try and blend in and be a work horse and show his team with his actions and not with his words.
I like that Dolvett was able to watch the red teams training sessions and that when he was reunited with them he called Conda out on her attitude and behavior. But again she is such a spoiled child all she did was roll her eyes and brush it off, He should have really laid into her after she did that.
Okay, this has always bothered me. Who films themselves eating at a restaurant? There is no way that these overweight people who are so self conscious about how they look, would have video of themselves gorging in public. When ever they show the black and white scenes of them eating it always smacks of footage that was shot especially for the show and it always breaks the fourth wall.
In the past people have asked me about new shows that I'm excited for and "Awake" is one of those shows. It starts on March 11th on NBC. If it's as good as it looks it could be a very good show.
The team is eating out and it is not at Subway? What is this have I entered an alternate dimension?
When Adrian first weighed in he had an aqua scarf, now that he is on the red team he now has a red scarf. I wonder if the producers gave him a new scarf so he would match his team because I don't think he was wearing one last week.
This weeks no excuse was "I can't lose weight without a trainer" and to prove this the red team lost their trainer and then proceeded to just do what their trainer had taught them to do. There by proving that in fact they can't do it without their trainer. To even further drive this home they ended up losing the weigh-in.
In past seasons it seemed like most of the guys would regularly lose double digits. This group seems to really be struggling with the weight loss.
It was no surprise that Adrian went home. He was always an outsider on his team and they never really gave him a chance or were satisfied with what he was able to do. He didn't help himself with his attitude and unwillingness to keep quiet, but he got a raw deal no questions asked.
"Nebraska" Air Date 2-12-12
The two best on going comics currently are "The Walking Dead" and "Fables". I have read most of the comics and will try my best to only focus on the show and not spoil anything that may or may not happen because of what I know the future will hold.
Anyone who ever has to rewrite an existing property should look no further than this as a template on how to do it. Due to the way that they are able to tell the same story with the same characters and plot, but some how keep it both suspenseful and unpredictable to even someone who knows what is going to happen next, the crew deserves praise and admiration. Michael Bay could have learned a few things from them before he butchered the Transformers universe.
As for this episode, I love how the show can be at its most tension filled when there are no zombies anywhere in sight. I think the only walker that was seen at all this episode was the dead mother and yet almost every scene was full of uneasiness and underlying pressure, especially the scenes in the bar with the strangers.
I have a feeling that the fallout form shooting all the barn zombies will play out throughout this entire season. The cracks in the group are all ready starting to form and I don't think it will take much more before the in-fighting boils over. Also the amount of gun fire that took place will surely lead to the farm becoming unsafe due to new zombies arriving.
Lori deserves to die for going off on her own. How stupid is it to drive off on your own and tell no one that you are going, and then to not even know where you are heading. Stupid moves on every level.
I like how everyone has a different name for the zombies.
"Junk" 2-12-12
I'm not exactly sure what this show was trying to be. It seemed to be one part podcast, one part reality workplace comedy, and one part hidden treasure show. It failed on almost all levels. The only one who was the least bit entertaining was Smith and sadly he was in it the least. It might work better if they followed the Ricky Gervais podcast method and had animated the show.
The way that it was edited with all the pointless jump cuts gave me a head ache and seemed to be done only for the sheer sake of doing it.
As sad as it is to admit, I think I might be over Kevin Smith. That is something 1996 Phil would have never would come to pass, but it seems that it is the case. Don't get me wrong he has a gift for storytelling and on this show when ever he was telling a story from his past the show was at its best, but I don't think I can take watching his idiot friends try and act funny.

The bar scene in Walking Dead was awesome! I was sooooooo uneasy watching that scene. I totally agree about Lori. As far are the show goes, I am hoping they stray from the books and make her zombie food sooner rather than later.
