"Where Did Our Love Go?" Air Date 2-8-12

Dustin only needed 5 stitches, he should be fine to continue.  Well he would be fine if all of the challenges didn't take place over water.  So another team gone, They're dropping like flies around here.

Questions make for an unfair challenge.  It becomes all a matter of luck, no matter how easy a question is if you don't know the answer it becomes the hardest question on earth.

Apparently John Wilkes Booth killed Kennedy.  I guess Paula subscribes to the time traveling assassins killed Kennedy theory.  Hmmm...time traveling assassins...that might make for a good TV show.

Again the power couple doesn't go last.  They must be showing these challenges out of order because it only makes sense to be the last team up there.

The easy choices for the power couple to send to the dome have all dried up, with all the rookie teams gone and the seasons villain leaving last week.  It will now get interesting as to who the power couple selects.

The teams should enter the dome from different sides.  It would give it more of the feel that they are going to go to battle over their spot.

Leroy and Naomi are seen getting advise from Johnny before the match up starts.  I know teams have yelled out how to do things to help their friends before, but I think this is the first time I can recall that they showed a team strategizing with other players before the event began.

Naomi was just too weak a player for this game.  I knew it from the beginning, she would be her teams downfall.  All the clever editing in the world couldn't help her.  I think Ty and Emily could have started half an hour later and still won this duel.

"Nothing but Nice" Air Date 2-2-12

The fact that Sam kept calling a Taser an "electric gun" makes me feel it might be time we start testing people's intelligence before we let them breed.  And yes watching Jersey Shore should be something that would make you fail that test.

When Ronny and Sam aren't fighting, they tend to blend into the woodwork bringing nothing to the show at all.

I'm sick of Mike, his constant wining because no one trust him is due only to the fact that every time he has had the opportunity to he has betrayed all of their trusts.

When ever there are scenes in the T shirt shop I have a hard time paying attention to what is going on because I'm constantly trying to read all the t-shirts.

"Two players go home with their trainers" Air Date 2-14-12

Do they always come in one at a time after voting someone out?   They never usually show it.  I wonder how many required shot happen each week that they never use in the actual show.

That's an interesting twist, letting the trainers pick who they want to take home to train.  The looks on the trainers faces implied that leaving the ranch was news to them.  I wonder how much extra they get paid to have their whole life uprooted like that.

So the trainers pick the two people who have a vendetta against one another.  I wonder how much say the trainers actually had in the whole picking scenario?

I like the remaining team fighting for one pound.  It gives them the incentive to not take the week off.

When you display a graphic that goes from Rockford, MI to Chicago, IL you don't need to zoom out and show the whole map.  It just seems silly.

I expected more out of the black team.  They always seem like a well oiled machine, it's surprising to see them fall apart so easily.  Unless they are playing the game knowing that they have two easy votes and this way they are almost guaranteed a win next week.

Having a second challenge worth one pound makes it so the only options are one team has a two pound advantage or neither team has an advantage.  Either way it kind of negates the point of having it.

Walking up the Sears Tower is a challenge in itself, but is it enough for a last chance workout.  I always thought the last chance work out was between 2-4 hours long, at least that is what is always implied.  To do it and have the only goal to be to finish in under an hour seems like it wouldn't be enough.  In fact neither of the last chance workouts seemed as intense as usual.

Could they have picked a worse day to shoot at the Sears Tower?  They get to the top and look out into the fog that lets them see all of about 2 feet in front of them.

There is an obvious red team alliance.  Beware Kimmy because if they lose next week you're next.

I was hoping Roy would make it to makeover week just to see what the stylist did with his beard.

Shows being recorded on 2-15-12 are:
